New Trustees

We are delighted to welcome Conor Noon, Maya Houssen and Hannah Jack to the Board of Trustees

Conor Noon

Senior Parliamentary Assistant

Office of Tracey Crouch CBE MP

I have worked in Westminster as a Parliamentary Aide for four years, supporting a busy MP’s office and conducting research and policy work on local and national issues including those affecting education. Additionally, I am a volunteer coach for an under 6 rugby team in Bromley and live locally in Welling with my partner and my six-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Maya Houssen

Senior Associate

Clifford Chance LLP

Maya attended Townley Grammar School in Bexley before studying Law and French Law at King’s College London and the Sorbonne University in Paris.

She has been working at Clifford Chance as a qualified solicitor since 2009, specialising in corporate and commercial matters, insurance, reinsurance and regulatory matters. Alongside this, Maya has been involved in several pro bono initiatives supporting women and children.

Maya has a car-obsessed little boy, who keeps her busy outside of work. She also enjoys going to antique furniture markets, watching foreign films and spending time on the coast.

Hannah Jack

Policy Officer

Department for Education

I am an experienced policymaker at the Department for Education where I advise on school curriculum as a member of the languages team. I work with schools, universities and other organisations within the education sector to implement the government’s ambitions for languages teaching and learning in schools in England. As a former primary school teacher and languages specialist coordinator, I have a Masters in Education where I focused my studies on language learning among primary pupils. I speak French and Spanish and am beginning to learn Mandarin.
